Kim wrote Lovesong with frequent collaborator Bradley Rust Gray, whose own features Jack and Diane and The Exploding Girl were produced by Kim. She’s set to film Lovesong in Tennessee. Lovesong will be produced by Alex Lipschultz along with Gray, David Hansen, and Johnny Mac. Mynette Louie, Laura Rister, and Gamechanger Films’ Julie Parker Benello, Dan Cogan, Geralyn Dreyfous, and Wendy Ettinger will executive produce.

Gamechanger is the female-centric fund founded with the goal of financing narrative features directed by women that’s so far boarded Land Ho! from Martha Stephens and Aaron Katz, The Invitation from Karyn Kusama, and Fresno by Jamie Babbit.

Malone is currently in theaters in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice and recently hit the giant screen in the Hunger Games franchise. She’s repped by The Gersh Agency. Keough made her debut in 2010’s The Runaways and it has since racked up credits in Jack and Diane, Kiss of the Damned, Magic Mike, and then year’s Mad Max: Fury Road. She’s repped by WME and LBI Entertainment.
