After slugging it out with The Mandarin Aldrich Killian in “iPhone 5 Iron Man case 3, ” Tony Stark hung up his red-and-gold armor and removed the calotte reactor that’s defined his way of life for years. Those two decisions got out of fans wondering how Stark might just reactivate his superhero career. Similar, there’s an answer for that — this person won’t.
In an interview with Scope, Robert Downey Jr. confirms this “there’s no plan for a final ‘Iron Man case, ’” news here is sure to sadden fans of ol’ Shellhead. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise, either.
Downey is front coupled with center as Iron Man inside of “Avengers: Age of Ultron, ” sadly past that, he’s only developed for a third “Avengers. ” The right other superheroes vying for the focus, and only so many release dates making it feel like give said heroes their time and energy shine, it’s no wonder that Sight wants to hit “pause” on the “Iron Man” franchise.
Besides, with “Guardians of the Galaxy” emerging from genuine obscurity to become the highest-grossing movie torrent of the year, does Marvel should have a state-certified juggernaut like Iron Man to acquire the way anymore? Or can Instruct Stark remain reserved for “Avengers” things from here on out?
